The Roberto Lane landslide occurred during the winter of 2004/2005. Several properties were affected.
The pool and dwelling were subsequently demolished.
Repair of the southern property began in 2006. A retaining wall was constructed along two property lines. The slide debris was removed, then replaced as engineered compacted fill. A retaining wall was constructed along the property line and pool deck foundation of the northern property in 2005.

Slope Stabilization, Residential Development, 2004-2005. Los Angeles, California. Retaining wall supported by approximately 80 ft. deep x 5 ft. dia. piles. Remove earth materials above ancient slide plane. Replace earth materials as compacted fill.
